Hypnosis is a treatment tool used to enhance and expedite healing and the therapeutic process. Hypnosis involves deep relaxation that facilitates one’s response to suggestion. Hypnosis is a very pleasant experience and is very effective as an adjunct to almost any treatment.
Will I lose control?
Hypnosis in a clinical setting is very different from hypnosis one may see in a stage performance. Hypnosis does not involve a surrender of will or an increase in gullibility. In hypnosis you always have complete control and the ability to make decisions.
During the hypnosis process, I am merely a facilitator. I do not impose hypnosis on anyone; your participation is completely voluntary. I do not consider myself a “hypnotist,” rather I am a therapist and I use hypnosis, along with other tools, to help you achieve your goals.
